Warning, tear jerker, in a good way...

Posted by Blackfive comes a story from Marine Gunnery Sergeant in Iraq, about a patrol.

Simply MUST READ.

It's short, so read it all.

May God bless you, sir, and all of your fellow troopers standing in harm's way On Our Behalf. I'm probably twice your age but I don't have a problem calling you "sir". It's thanks to you folks and the many who came before you that we have the greatest Nation on Earth, and please believe this: it couldn't have happened without you.

I wish for you all a very "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." And I pray for you all every day. Thank you all for doing what has to be done, and doing it well.

Warren, thank you for the kind words, but I believe you might have misunderstood something.
I am just a blogger, I have not direct military connections, not even any close family still in the military.
Just wanted to point that out, I still thank you for the kind words.
